Burton Chiropractic Supports Chronic Pain After Auto Injury
Over 2 million people are hurt each year in motor vehicle collisions in the U.S. While most people are able to heal from their injuries fairly quickly, many are left to deal with chronic issues and disability. We see many of these patients here in our Burton office. Fortunately, Dr. Elganainy is here to help you recover from your auto injury.
Research Supports Chiropractic Treatment Helps Prevent Chronic Problems After an Auto Accident
The science confirms what we see in our office: A British study was conducted on 28 men and women diagnosed with chronic whiplash syndrome. Each participant received chiropractic treatment and 93 percent of them found relief following their adjustments, even though 43% of whiplash sufferers overall usually never find relief. This confirms that chiropractic treatment is a great way to avoid chronic pain after a crash.
It's important to remember that studies have also found that delaying treatment after a car crash can adversely affect healing time, so getting in to see Dr. Elganainy as soon as possible is key to having a quicker recovery.
