Physical therapy is a broad term that encompasses a wide range of treatment methods for injuries, conditions, and illnesses. Physical therapy programs often include a therapist using their hands to perform manual therapy in conjunction with specific exercises for your condition. These exercises can include stretching, core strength and stability, lifting light weights, and aerobics.
