Burton Chiropractic Treatment Helps Chronic Pain After Car Crash
More than 2 million people are injured every year in automobile accidents in the U.S. While several people are able to improve from their injuries relatively quickly, too many people are left to deal with chronic pain and impairment. We see many of these patients here in our Burton office. Luckily, Dr. Elganainy is here to help you recover from your auto injury.
Research Supports Chiropractic Care Helps Prevent Chronic Pain After an Auto Accident
The science confirms what we see in our office: A British study was carried out on 28 people diagnosed with chronic whiplash pain. Each participant received chiropractic adjustments and 93% of them found relief following their adjustments, even though 43% of whiplash sufferers overall usually never find relief. This confirms that chiropractic care is a great way to avoid long-term pain after an auto injury.
It's important to note that studies have also found that delaying care after a car crash can negatively affect healing time, so getting in to see Dr. Elganainy at the earliest opportunity is key to having a quicker recovery.
